The Woman Behind The Lens
Meredith came to production via an NBC newsroom, where late nights and deadlines were the norm. After years of reporting news she found a path that landed her in the mountains of Idaho and working for ESPN action sports as a videographer for their free skiing and snowboarding channels. Her love for nature kept her rooted in the town of Sun Valley, Idaho while she explored the world behind the lens of her camera. Her knack for storytelling propelled her into the independent documentary realm, where she worked for 13 years as a freelancer on educational documentaries focusing on environmental issues, maternal health and social injustice. While wrapping on her last documentary in 2019, she decided to explore the film industry on a larger scale- working camera department or assistant producing on film and commercial sets in both Salt Lake City and Los Angeles. As covid changed the face of the larger production industry, she was called back to mountains of Sun Valley as a Senior Producer for Idarado Media, a production company focused on branded lifestyle content. After nearly 5 memorable years with Idarado, Meredith is now pursuing her dream of getting back into the film world via producing and directing.
